   I updated the Jetpack plugin last evening, and I have not been able to get any stats since.

   Same problem here. Most important part of the plugin and it's broken.

   This bug has been fixed in Jetpack 1.8.1, which is now available at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/jetpack/
