  • I have the same problem. Jetpack comments used to work just fine on my blog but all it shows now is a grey square; nothing’s loading.
Switched back to native WordPress comments now.

    Same problems here.

Jetpack Comment system is not working.

De-activating the entire Jetpack plug in seems to have solved the problem. Although, I want the other modules of Jetpack.

    Any ideas?

You can just deactivate the comment section of Jetpack. Click on Learn More and then there’ll be a button to Deactivate the comment plugin.

    THANK YOU! Winkieflash 😀

Same problem here, commentsystem broken since update to JetPack 1.8.2. Deactivated Jetpack comments (click on learn more and then deactivate) and switched back to native commentsystem. Hope there will be a workaround soon.

Funny thing is, Jetpack comments were working for me till a few hours ago.

I haven’t updated Jetpack since then. Wonder what the bug is. Seems like a lot of other users had similar problems as well. [saw some older thread in the support forums]

Same thing happened to me too thebluegger. Was working fine this morning and now – zip.
I didn’t change *anything* on my blog so I’m thinking this is an error on the Jetpack side of things!

Exactly the same here : I haven’t made any change and it stopped working this morning

lol, i spent all the morning trying to fix this! looks like the jetpack comment system is down.

Phew! I thought I did something wrong on my end. Guess it is a bug then.

FYI:- Jetpack comments seem to be working on WordPress.com blogs.

I think those work in a different way from self-hosted WordPress blogs.

    Either way, this sucks.

    Had to deactivate too.

Good grief. I just spent two hours deactivating plugins to try and find the cause. I was getting “Refused to display document because display forbidden by X-Frame-Options.” in chrome/safari. Glad (in a way) to now hear that this is a jetpack issue rather than a conflict. I’ll just wait it out I suppose.

Is everyone just going to wait this out or should I deactivate? i really want all the other Jetpack options.

Hi, I just tried it, and it’s working fine now 🙂
