    Hello,
    twitter icon is not displayed anymore, you see the link just in front-end, and I think it goes into conflict with some other plugin.
    If you restore the previous version works fine.
    This is the list of plugins I have installed:

    Advanced Custom Fields: 3.2.9
    All in One SEO Pack: 1.6.14.5
    Images Categories: 1.1
    Content Slide Plugin: 1.4.2
    Duplicate Post: 2.4.1
    Jamie Social Icons: 0.9.3
    Jigoshop: 1.2.3
    JigoShop Statistics: 1.0.1
    Table Rate Shipping for Jigoshop: 2.0.3
    WP-Mail-SMTP: 0.9.1
    Wysija Newsletters: 2.0.4

    I have just installed all of the mentioned plugins (except Table Rate Shipping for Jigoshop: 2.0.3 which is not a free plugin) and the twitter icon is still showing so not a conflict with any of the plugins. Can you send me a link to the site so I can see if all the files are being pulled in. In this update I have added function to add the scripts to the header and the footer, does your theme have the <?php wp_footer(); ?> in the footer.That is the only way I am able to break the plugin and show what you are are experiencing

    Hello martiniboy,
    here the site http://www.bagghyvenezia.com/product-category/bagghy/
    who is with the old version.
    Here is a screen shot of the icons,
    https://dl.dropbox.com/u/16068875/jamie-icons.png
    and lacks Google Plus.
    In addition, the back-end has slowed down a lot.
    thanks for your interest :)

    Hi
    When you are logged in do you see the admin bar along the top of the front end of the site?, looking at the source code of the site all of your scripts which should be within your <head><\head> are within the body tags and the usual code which is added to the bottom of the site is not there.
    This implies to me either <?php wp_head(); ?> is not within the head tags in the header.php or the <?php wp_footer();?> is not in the footer.php just before the closing body tag
    Would you be able to show what is in your header.php and footer.php so I can rule that out

    same problem here!

    The tweet button disappeared and we just see the letters saying twitter, the google + button totally disappeared.
    The likes appearing on the plugin are not the same as the likes on facebook page! I guess this plugin is working truly weird...!

    Analuciadacruz apologies for what you are experiencing, as I said earlier is that the only way I can replicate what you are experiencing is if I remove the <?php wp_footer(); ?> from the themes template. Which site are you experiencing this on, which theme?
    Sorry if I am not any help but it is difficult to troubleshoot without being able to replicate the issue, in your other posts you mentioned tat you had a couple of sites are you having the same issue on all your sites or just the one?
    Would you be able to switch temporarily your them to the twenty ten or twenty eleven theme please to rule out theme related.

    Hi martini boy!
    I'm experiencing the issues on both sites, even though I have different themes on them.
    I also experience the same difficulties with the twenty ten theme.

    Is there another issue i've mentioned above which is the problem of not having the like button from facebook connected with the likes on facebook.. so sometimes I have something like 50 likes in one place and 10 on the other.

    I'm not complaining, I just think that reporting the problems will help to improve the plugin..

    Thank you for your support! :)

    Hi Martiniboy, I have an issue on 2 separate sites today with your plugin, the facebook button sites about 50px above the rest of the buttons. Any idea why this is happening?

    Thanks, great plugin, legend!

    Analuciadacruz apologies in delay in getting back to you, and thanks for the feedback I appreciate knowing the problems so that I can improve on the plugin. Not sure what you are meaning about different amount of likes on FB page and to the website page, the likes on the web page are connected to the website and not to your FB page, or am I misunderstanding what you mean.
    Could you send me link to sites so I can see the code to see whether the scripts are being pulled into your footer and head for the twitter and google plus buttons, I cannot replicate what ou are experiencing - also any other info, I have tested on both windows and Linux servers but to no avail.
    Dorimedia could you also send me a link, I will see what I can do, was it working on previous versions ?
    Are you both on latest version of WordPress?
    I will try to get to the bottom of this over the weekend, but am struggling for find reason for different issues on different sites? Yet all of my themes/sites I have not experienced any of the problems, but I could well be missing something!

    Hi martiniboy!

    The links for both websites:
    picpuffin.com
    invisiblegentleman.com

    I thought that the likes on the website and the ones on the facebook were supposed to be connected. But maybe i was the one misunderstanding that.
    Thank you for your kind support!

    Hi analuciadacruz
    I am determined to get to the bottom of this, this weekend, would you be able to alter a line of code in my plugin, on line 224 ( last line of code on jamie-social_icons.php)
    You will see
    add_action('wp_footer', 'jamie_add_my_footer_scripts');
    And replace it with
    add_action('wp_enqueue_scripts', 'jamie_add_my_footer_scripts');
    I am not sure whether this will change anything
    Mail me and I will try to help out more
    Apologies for this but as already said I cannot replicate what you are experiencing so cannot test.
    Thanks

    Here's the link to my site with the issue... http://waikatosocialmedia.co.nz

    Facebook button sitting above the rest of the buttons, and I have another site that is doing the same thing, but it's not live yet.

    Thanks!

    Hi dorimedia
    Looking at your source code you have p tags being added within the ul list, and even more strange a closing p tag at the start of the ul (without an opening tag??) which is causing the first icon to be misplaced.
    On the two sites which you are experiencing this on have you any plugins or functions which are the same other than my plugin? If you deactivate/ remove them temporary does anything change? Are you using the automatic show of the icons, or adding the code into the template?
    This may not be related but are both sites without the www, all of the sites which I cannot explain why the issue is happening all seem not to have www. This is probably just a coincidence but was just wondering.
    I will look further into what would cause p tags to be added .

    Yeah I don't understand where those <p> tags come from. I disabled all plugins but they are still there. I might need to hard code in something similar into single.php. It still does it with [jamiesocial] shortcode and with automatic showing..

    Thanks!

    Hello,
    I did the upgrade on another site and it works properly! The basic theme is Twentyeleven .. I think there is really a problem of compatibility issues, see if I can fix!
    hello and good work :)

    Hi giampietro
    Let me know if you need any help, or if you want me to run any tests let me know - what theme are you using?
    @dorimedia
    ok this is not a complete fix, more of a sticky plaster while I investigate further
    in the stylesheet if you add (probably my plugin stylesheet would be best) :

    ul#jamie_social p {
        display: inline-block;
        margin: 0;
        padding: 0;
    }

    this will make everything sit in one line, are you using the same theme on both sites? What theme/s and plugins are using, what plugins are you using? have you tried switching to Twenty ten/eleven theme and the same issue?

    Legend, thanks for that. Yeah same theme on both sites, the theme is called Gonzo from Themeforest. No I haven't tried switching to one of those themes, I'll do that tonight when there is less traffic to the site.

    Thanks!!

    Hi analuciadacruz
    On invisiblegentleman.com I take it that you have checked to show google plus, sorry if i am stating the obvious, but cannot think of reason why it will work on one but not the other.
    Will investigate further, should be releasing update this weekend if all goes well to fix these issues. Will I be able to send you a copy to test, I will include you as a contributor for this plugin, email me what email I should send it to to avoid posting email address here and you getting spammed,

    Hi analuciadacruz
    Would you be able to show me the code in your footer.php if you click on the pinterest button, that is not working on your sites either, no script code is being pulled into your footer, as it should be.
    I have tried on lots of domains trying to replicate what you are experiencing but to no avail, so not sure how to correct it. If you can show me the code in the footer.php I will see if I can see anything.
    I will get to the bottom of this, eventually

    Here is my footer.php:

    <div id="footer">
    <div id="copyright">© picpuffin 2012 </div>
    </div>
    </html>

    Hi analuciadacruz
    I see what the problem is, or one of many. To begin with you do not have a closing body tag, also for a WordPress theme to work you need to add <?php the_footer(); ?>, a lot of plugins use this function so it is an important part of creating themes. Below is the code which should be in your footer.php, I have not checked through the site to see if any other elements have not been closed, but if you add this it should sort out the problem you are experiencing, if you are unsure it is best to seek advice, which I am happy to do if you mail me.

    <div id="footer">
    <div id="copyright">&copy; picpuffin 2012</div>
    </div>
    <?php the_footer();?>
    </body>
    </html>

    Any problems give me a shout, and as always when you amend theme files always make a back up first

    Hi martini boy!

    footer replaced.. still the same problem!
    I have never had issues with the footer, even with other plugins and believe me, i'm using a lot of them like contact form, like blog in blog and so on.

    I don't think that the problem is related to the footer.

    So feedback of the problems related:
    - google + button don't show up
    - pin it button doesn't work
    - likes counter shows different number either you are inside a post or on the front page of the blog

    I'm making some changes on the website and I will try to see if I can get everything to work. But right now it's being hard to find the solution!

    Looking at your source code properly and putting your site through the W3C validator you have a lot of errors, I do not see an opening or closing body tag on picpuffin.com and invisiblegentleman.com has mis placed closing divs.
    Your theme needs <?php wp_footer();?> in the footer.php because that is one of the most essential theme hooks, according to the WordPress Codex check out my blog post which may help.
    I may be wrong but you have been lucky that you have not had any issues with other plugins, looking at earlier posts you said that you were using the imbalance theme the code in that footer.php is :

    <div id="footer">
            	<div id="copyright">&copy; <?php the_time(__('Y')) ?> <?php bloginfo('name'); ?>. All Rights Reserved.</div>
              <div id="credits">Powered by WordPress. Designed by <a href="http://wpshower.com/">WPSHOWER</a></div>
            </div>
        </div><!--this one is extra probably closing the main wrapper-->
    <?php wp_footer(); ?>
    </body>
    </html>

    Which has an extra closing div than your code that you showed me, it may be worth downloading the imbalance theme and just checking your files with thhe newly downloaded theme, just to correct any unclosed divs - but definately check the header and footer and add the body tag, let me know if this does not resolve your issue

    Martini boy!
    A lot of the errors mentioned on the W3C are not truly errors, just things like adding the value "none" to a background-color, for instance, instead of giving it a color code. I don't see this kind of things causing problems and i'm trying to delete them as I'm not giving a color anyway.

    I changed both header and footer, and replace the original div, also check for the body tag, but still not working.

    I'm trying to figure out what can I do to solve this.
    I truly appreciate your kind support!

    Hi analuciadacruz
    ok something strange is happening on the picpuffin site, from the imbalance theme there is an opening div with an id of outer on your theme the body has an id of outer and the div starts and closes within the body tag. Those were the errors that I was meaning from the W3C validation everything seems to be interlinked and mixed up, by all means deactivate my plugin if you believe that is causing the problems, if you want me to help you out let me know, if you want to put the code of the header.php here I will take a look, a second pair of eyes may help.
