[Plugin: iPhone-WebApp-Redirection] No redirection happens

I installed, activated and enabled the plugin, inserted the full URL of the page to be redirected to, but no redirection occurs on my iPad (running iOS 5). At least there is no error in desktop browsers. Also, the Support links on the plug-in’s download page are broken.
