Hi pixilla,
thanks for this report. This issue will be fixed in our next release. In the meantime consider using your Instagram-Username instead of “self”. Thanks!
Username doesn´t work, it shows me photos from some other users 😉
Would you be so kind as to tell me you instagram-username? Thanks!
pixilla
I use your plugin here:
http://www.pixilla.de/2011/04/instagram-mashups/
[instapress userid="pixilla" piccount="4" size="75" effect="fancybox"]
Please use or userid instead of your username:
[instapress userid="1128788" piccount="4" size="75" effect="fancybox"]
Thanks in advance, we’ll fix this soon!
By the way, did you register your Instagram application on your user?
If the above solution still doesn’t work, try resetting the application in Instapress settings and set it up again.
With userid it works .. thank you 🙂
Just a quick docs request. Awesome plugin! Would be nice to use not only by shortcode, but if under “Usage” you might also describe the function for adding it to a template file.
Hi pastorcox,
you can integrate the plugin in your templates via the do_shortcode():
<?php echo do_shortcode('[instapress piccount="12"]'); ?>
Is that what you were looking for? If so, I’ll add it under “Usage”.
The next big update of Instapress will also include rich-editor functionalities. Stay tuned! 🙂
Hi pastorcox,
did my answer last week satisfy your needs?
How do I find my id? I did register. Everything is auth. But I am having the same issue as pixilla.
Hi,
please Tell me your Instagram username, I’ll Look up your id! The Next Version – which we’ll hopefully Release Next Week – will fix that issue.
Thanks!
How do you look it up. I would like to know for future reference.
Your userid is 3199292
You can get your userid via the instagram API bei sending a request to the following url:
https://api.instagram.com/v1/users/search?q=Randomorg&access_token=2560137.f59def8.748edb03a2d542fb88ec2d9a271fe18b
Then you recieve a JSON encoded Object that contains the users id
"id": "3199292"
