plugin install failed – website and admin wont load

    I was installing plugin Groups zip I downloaded from WordPress. During install the screen said:

    Server error
    The website encountered an error while retrieving http://www.cathlenebollin.com/. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.
    Here are some suggestions: Reload this webpage later.
    HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request.

    Now I only get that screen when I try to access my website or my WordPress admin. I have no clue what to do. I have no way to get into my files even if I need to.

    HELP PLEASE! I need my website back.
    I can’t find how to contact WordPress for help.

    This sounds like something outside of wordpress.

    You can try disabling the plugin (rename it through FTP) but I would contact your hosting.

    BTW – There is no “wordpress” to contact. It’s like Willy Wonka’s Factory without the contest. Besides, how many free products have support?

    Thank you racer x. Problem solved.

    I renamed the folder named Groups via my webhost file manager.
    Website and Admin are back.

    I deleted the plugin from my admin page.
    Re-install went well.
