hello,
is there a plugin to import a database dump of a stand-alone blog into a network blog?
there are some tutorials on the net, but they aren´t really user-friendly ... especially as there are many multisite-specific characteristics which could actually be done best by an automatism (table names, user ids etc.)
would be great if someone could help me here or who leave a tip! actually this would be a VERY USEFUL plugin ...

No, there isn't one. Partly becasue the blog tables are.. uh.. .blog specific, and the associated user tables are global.
What exactly are you trying to do? Usually the Exporter gets everything, including users.

actually i have a sql-dump of a stand-alone blog that should be importet into a blog-network.
i found a tutorial, that describes the suggested way very well, at least as well as this one. as i am running a site with many users, the method importing existing users a described in method 2 isn´t very usable i think ...
Both of those are fine -I'd go with the latter as it's more recent.
