[resolved] [Plugin: ICS Calendar] Plugin is activated, but won't show up anywhere (2 posts)

The ICS plugin is activated, but I can't make it show up anywhere with the commands it suggested in the instructions: <<[show-ics-events] or [show-ics-events=num_events] or [show-ics-events cal=ics_num,ics_num] (for events list) [show-ics-calendar] or [show-ics-calendar cal=ics_num,ics_num] (for new calendar)>>

The command I use is the only thing that shows up on the page, just as text.

I've tried placing [show-ics-events] and every other in the following page locations to no avail:
-in body of page in the admin panel
-in custom field of page in the admin panel
-directly in code on index page, sidebar on index page, and multiple interior pages.

I think my problem is in the command I'm using. I've looked for hours before posting, as I figure this is something basic. Please help if you can. Thanks!

Solved. I'm still not sure how to call the ICS events calendar to a page, but once I widgetized my sidebar, I added the ICS widget and it shows up.
