Support » Plugin: Hyper Cache » [Plugin: Hyper Cache] Hyper-Cache broke my website! Help!!!

  • I installed Hyper-Cache tonight in hope of speeding up my sluggish wordpress website. After hitting the “empty cache” button on the plug-in in the plugin settings…. my site suddenly DOESN’T LOAD anymore. I can’t access the site or the admin panel.

    Can anybody tell me what I should do? I removed the plugin AND the php code from the wp_config.php file… but NOTHING IS WORKING and the page won’t load at all.

    Stay away from this plug-in if you want to be able to access your website again. Thanks to this plug-in, my entire website is blank.

  • The same thing happened to me. Then I realized that I did not type in the change to the wp-config.php file correctly.

    Did you add this text correctly?
    define(‘WP_CACHE’, true);

    Did you add it right under the text below?
    define(‘WPLANG’, ”);

    I got a white screen because I typed in ‘WP_CACHE’, true); instead of define(‘WP_CACHE’, true);

    Hello.

    It happens the same problem as the author of the post.

    Please can you tell me as how you fix it? Please.

    I Delete plugins and modify the confing.php it was before, but I still can not load the web. Do not know what to do?

    Some idea? Thank You.

    I don’t use Hyper Cache and it might kill your site I don’t know. But, people caching plugins aren’t toys, if you don’t know what they do and how to fix it if it gets broken why did you install? True that caching plugin authors should point out that this is serious business and that besides making your site fly it could blow up in you face.
