[resolved] Using Shortcode for Different Hubspot Forms (8 posts)

I have many different forms in Hubspot's form manager that we use for different offers. I just installed the Hubspot plugin. Unfortunately, it looks like we can only setup 1 form for use in this plugin.

Any thoughts on making it where the shortcode [hs_form] could reference any of the forms in Hubspot's form manager?

The form shortcode is still in development. I am currently working on formatting the existing form so it displays properly within different themes. Next I will develop an easier way to insert multiple forms into your site as needed. For now you can only insert the one form using the shortcode.

We hope to have an easier means of inserting forms from HubSpot into your WordPress site in the future.

Thanks Jon. For now, I modified your plug-in to allow four forms in the leads-shortcode section. I updated your hs_leads to pick one of those four forms based on different shortcode parameters.

Not a perfect solution, but is working so far.

Looking forward to seeing what you guys create to make this a bit easier.

The goal is to make it so you can select from a dropdown of contact forms within the WordPress WYSIWYG. Setting up new forms in HubSpot would in turn makes those forms available in WordPress.

This might be awhile off still so we will consider alternative methods in the meantime.

    Jon,

That would definitely make things easier. In the short term, you might want to consider giving people a few more fields to use the custom HTML as a short term solution.

Saying that, the plug-in is very helpful, so I'm glad you guys are working on it.

I changed the way the form shortcode works so you can insert multiple forms. Let me know what you think.

    Jon,

I was trying this out tonight.

For the # you are looking for here, is this the # of the form you typically see when you click Get Form HTML? I had used that, but it isn't pulling anything. Am I missing something?

    [hs_form id="#"]

In the WordPress admin under shortcodes it should display the shortcode you should use next to the the input box where you paste your custom form.

This number has nothing to do with any IDs in HubSpot and is created by WordPress when you add a new custom form.
