Hi Guys, if you want support with this you'll need to send a working link to the page/post where the player is embedded.

Having same problem in Firefox - this is the error being generated:

Warning: HTTP "Content-Type" of "text/plain" is not supported. Load of media resource http://www.israalien.com/music/Schuna_Somewhere_is_Here.ogg failed.
    Source File: http://www.israalien.com/home/music/

    @realgw

This is not an error with the plugin. The error message shows its a problem with your code, probably line 0 or 1 like it says. Also clicking the path you've provided to the .ogg file results in nothing... so looks like there is no file uploaded?

Using HTML5 jQuery Audio Player Version 1.4. Works fine in Safari. But with Firefox it does nothing.

Well it works fine for over 6400 other users so I think perhaps this error might be just with your site. I can see your site includes a bunch of fancy jQuery effects in the theme - I'm guessing there's a jQuery conflict, most likely caused by hardcoded JS within your theme files.

Hope this helps you identify the error.

Still trying to solve the problem...
Could this problem, which, as best as I could interpret, says that some web hosts serve up mime types that Firefox cannot handle, so that if my host (StartLogic) is one of these, then anyone using Firefox will be unable to use the "HTML5 jQuery Audio Player" on my site successfully.

What exactly is the problem that's happening in firefox for you? Is it just not showing at all? Or tracks failing to play?

When the player doesn't show up at all it is most likely either a Mime type issue or a JS conflict.

A mime type issue will be solved by adding the following lines to your htaccess file:
    AddType audio/ogg ogg
    AddType audio/ogg oga
    AddType video/ogg ogv
    AddType video/mp4 m4v

A JS conflict will need to be identified using a debugger... post any error codes here so we can take a look and try to help.

The problem is that, for me, using Firefox, I would see the player, see all the individual tracks, but clicking on a track or clicking on the "Play" triangle produced no action.
I followed the instruction from the Brian Hadaway link two posts back. These are probably the same or similar instructions as those received from EnigmaWeb Member in the previous post. The player now playes fine in all the browsers I tested.
I'm looking forward to the ability to sort the tracks as I wish and to have multiple instances of the player on a single site (page even!).
    Thanks
