[Plugin: Howdy Tweaks] Works not for other languages…

    Hi there!
    I really like your simple & lightweight plugin and how it does add custom links to the toolbar!

    However, the “Howdy” tweak does not work for other languages than English. I have my sites running in German, which uses “Willkommen,” (welcome) in the translations but I’d love to get that removed or still shortened.

    Any chance of implementing it for other languages too?

    There’s this plugin here, which obviously does it: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tm-replace-howdy/ –> but I really prefer your’s over this other one… 🙂

    I hope that sometime soon Automattic/WP Core Team will overcome its stubbornness (!) and adds a filter for this thing!
