   I am not able to prevent headspace from inserting meta tags in buddypress pages. I am using another plugin to manage SEO for buddypress pages and hence I end up having multiple meta description and meta keywords for each buddypress page.

   Is there any easy way to disable this without modifying core plugin code?

   You can disable plugins from the plugin page.

   I don't want to disable the plugin. I know how to disable a plugin, lol.

   I want it to stop inserting meta tags in buddypress pages (profiles, forums, groups etc.).

   This is my problem. The proposed solution in comments don't work for me.
