Huge white space after header image only on IE (4 posts)

    Hello,

    I was reading through the posts and noticed that someone else had the same problem but they were able to fix it. Unfortunately, I am not.

    Issue: As explained in the title, there is a huge space after the header. It is intermittent so I am unable to take a screen shot of it at the moment but will do so when it happens again. I have duplicated the issue on a different computer outside of my network. It is only happening on IE. I am using IE9, the other is IE8.

    In the previous post, you suggested changing the #main. I did check the CSS and it appears that the padding is 1.625em

    #main {
    clear: both;
    padding: 1.625em 0 0;

    If this is the issue, let me know what to change it to and I will do so.

    Website: http://www.railinginvestments.com

    Explanation without screenshot: Title is in place, Header is in place, Menu and rest of body is about 1000 pixels or more below. The header still works fine, goes through the rotation of images.

    The issue happens randomly so not sure what is going on. Like I said, I will try to provide a screenshot when it happens again.

    Thanks for your help.

    Got a screenshot of the issue:

    What website should look like:

    Screenshot with problem:

    As you can see the title is gone but the slider is in the proper place. Unfortunately the screenshot does not show this but the controls for the slider are further down the page right above the menu.

    This started after I updated the header.

    If you go to the live website, I might be doing changes to this, trying different sliders to resolve this issue, so hopefully the screenshots are helpful if I have made changes.

    More Info - When I disable - Enable auto-insert the slider? - I get the white space with the red x.

    Here is the screenshot:

    One more bit of information that might be the issue: I just realized that I am on WordPress 3.3.1. which doesn't look like it is compatible.
