I found out today that WP 3.4.2 break the compatibility with Hana-FLV-Player version 2.9.3.
I ran the following tests on different browsers/OSs (Win 7 = Windows 7 Professional 64-bit with Chrome, Linux = Ubuntu with Firefox 14.0.1, Mac = Mac OS 10.6.4 with Safari AND Firefox):

    Player Win 7 Linux Mac(Safari/FFox)
    ===================================================
    1 OK OK OK/OK
    2 OK OK OK/OK
    3 OK OK Error.3/Error.3
    4 OK Error.1 OK/Error.3
    5 Error.2 Error.2 Error.2/Error.2
    ANY* Error.3* Error.3*
    where
Error.1 = Player shows up in post as a grey rectangle, no controls are seen
Error.2 = Player shows up in post correctly, controls are seen, video is loaded with the proper length - but when it is played, the audio is heard but the screen remains black.
Error.3 = the above setup functions properly ONLY IF an absolute URL is passed as a parameter to the video' tag. If a relative address is given (i.e. "video='videos/KB_2011-08-07.flv' "), the player shows up in the post, but the screen is black (as opposed to a frame from the video displayed when everything is fine) and the video clip length is listed as 0:00. This was observed with all 5 players and 3 OSs/4 browsers.

    The tag I used was
    [hana-flv-player video="http://pouchenia.org/wp/videos/KB_2012-02-13.flv" width="400" description="" player="1|2|3|4|5" autoload="true" autoplay="false" loop="false" autorewind="true" clicktarget="_self" /]

I proved the error is due to WP 3.4.2 because I installed WP 3.4.1 in a different directory, used the same tag and the video played with no problems with "player='5' " - which is the case I am interested in the most. It was even OK with relative URLs!

Long description, but I know this is better for debugging. Please let me know if I can assist you with that...

    Hi
I have just started using Hana Flv Player 2.9.3 in WordPress and noticed an issue with the Fullscreen feature for Player 5.
    1. In IE9 when you click or hover over the Fullscreen control a button appears on the screen (slightly left of centre) reading "Go Fullscreen". When you click on this button you get fullscreen. Clicking on the actual control has no effect.
    2. In Chrome 21.0 you see similar but not exactly the same behaviour. The button ("Go Fullscreen") does not appear on the screen when you hover over or click on the Fullscreen control (clicking actually starts the video minimised). You can, however, get fullscreen while the video is running by hovering over the central area until the 'hand' appears and then clicking.
I have done some searching but cannot find a reference to this issue.
Is this a known issue and is there a fix or workaround?
    Thanks
    Pat
P.S. The Fullscreen control works as expected on my Samsung Galaxy S3 phone.

Hello, first I would like to thank you for through testing with various platform and browsers.
    -------------------------------
Error.1 = Player shows up in post as a grey rectangle, no controls are seen.
    >> I am unable to test since this is for Linux which I don't have.
    -------------------------------
Error.2 = Player shows up in post correctly, controls are seen, video is loaded with the proper length - but when it is played, the audio is heard but the screen remains black.
    >> This is only occurred for Player 5 - mediaelement.js. I tried your shorttag myself with WP 3.4.2 and it worked OK. I was able to see and hear the audio too. I am not sure why your WP 3.4.1 showed video when WP 3.4.2 didn't. One thing I noticed is the video file is big (over 100MB) and poorly encoded. This may be the cause of the problem. But it is impossible for me to troubleshoot.
    -------------------------------
Error.3 = the above setup functions properly ONLY IF an absolute URL is passed as a parameter to the video' tag.
    >> You have to use FULL absolute URL including 'http://'. That's a mandatory requirement. Because the URL itself will be used by the defined Flash video player or HTML5 , it's something that I cannot help. (All the flash players included in my plugin are open source projects created by other developers. So they are not created by me) Some flash player might support relative path, but I strongly advise you to use absolute path all the time to avoid these kind of errors.

    -------------------------------
About the full screen feature: This is an issue with the player 5 - MediaElement.js itself. Please report this as a bug in the mediaelementjs.com support forum. Thank you.

    Hello
first thanks for the nice plugin.
    I have installed http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/hana-flv-player/
in WordPress 3.4.2 and everything is working fine in front end but in admin panel, in the edit page, when i click on the tinymce button the upload button is not there, only the input button is there to insert a link.
    I have also installed http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/hana-flv-extension/
everything seems to work fine in previous version of WordPress.

    regards
    Alvaro

Can you try to disable the Hana Flv plugin and see if the problem is resolved? I want you to check if this is really caused by my plugin.
    Thanks.
