   Great plugin - many thanks to all those responsible. Simple, lightweight contact form solution - perfect.

   The problem I have struck is this...
   If I fail to include an email field on my forms, the form submits but no feedback email is generated/sent to the post author. Everything works perfectly as long as the frontend form includes an email field for the user to complete. Is this a design feature? Basically, I don't require an email address from my users, just a contact phone number to respond to their query.

   I have installed the plugin on both a production site (single WP install) and a test site (localhost/Multi-Site install) with the same result. I have tested with Akismet both enabled and disabled.

   Any help/clarification much appreciated.

   I've confirmed that Grunion does not email out the form submission if there is no email address field. It does properly save the submission in Feedbacks, so it isn't lost.

   The reason for this is that Grunion is primarily a contact form handler, so email address is a basic part of that. With that said, I'll see what we can do to address this specific use case for the next release.

   Fantastic - thanks Joseph. The site we're building is an internal tool, thus no need for an email address, just a phone (extension) number. We're currently using Gravity Forms, but want to deply something a little more lightweight in this instance. The use case described above is the last thing we need to resolve. Thanks again.

   I've committed support for this to Grunion -trunk : https://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/grunion-contact-form/trunk - if you don't want to wait for the next release to get this feature.
