Plugin Groups not working

    Hi

    I just installed the latest version of the plugin (v5.1) and have been trying to create plugin groups at the plugins list by selecting some of them and creating a new group from the drop down menu that your plugin added at the plugins index’s top.
    Nothing happens once I select some plugins and choose “Groups: New Group”. No new group is created and none plugins get grouped. Also if I go to a post or a page, there are no groups available except the standard one (which I’m not able to figure out how it works…). Am I doing something wrong?

    Select “Save Group” in the bulk actions dropdown and then click apply.

    I was having same problem so did what was suggested above…

    Save Group > — New Group — > Test Group

    Then ticked several plugins on the main plugins list, then clicked Apply button… nothing happens. No group created.

    Would it be worth having a new Plugin Groups screen under the Plugins menu, where I can create/rename/reorder groups? That would be much easier to understand than current UI.

    Seems if there’s a space in the group title that the group creation silently fails.

    I named group TestGroup (instead of Test Group) and it worked.

    But now the group is created I can’t add any plugins to it (using either Save Group or Add to Group options with that group selected and a plugin ticked).

    Seems very unreliable when adding to group – sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes it only works when adding one plugin at a time, other times I can add a few plugins at a time. Also, after doing a successful add I need to clear browser cache and reload whole plugins page before I can add another one successfully.

    The page does not refresh itself when you add plugins to a group. After you add a plugin you have to refresh the page to see the effects. I’ll look into refreshing the page with javascript. As for the inconsistencies, I can’t recreate the problem. I have a few groups with spaces in their names and they are working fine.
