    I keep getting this error and in the view results page I get:

    "This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below."

    <Success>
    <Message>Update notification has successfully submitted.</Message>
    </Success>

    Can someone help me understand how to correct this?

    Thanks

    Hi,

    can you click on the "Debug" link and see if there is anything regarding the Yahoo Ping under "Errors, Warnings and Notices"?

    Any update on this problem?

    Maybe it's finishing the submission properly, but displaying the wrong message?

    Hi,

    did you enter a proper YAHOO application key on the admin screen?

    The response from YAHOO is "400 Bad Request". It could be that the application key is invalid or that there was a problem on YAHOO's side.

    I had this same situation. I went back to YAHOO! and got a new Application ID, put that in my xml sitemaps plugin (at Basic Options, Update Notification, Notify YAHOO!) and voila! Problem solved. YAHOO was successfully notified about changes.

    It may be that you got your Application ID(long) before you got your sitemaps plugin set up, and in the interim, YAHOO! invalidated that key number. That's what I suspect happened in my case.

    Just get another one. It worked for me.

    ok .. I have updated my Application key and added that in. We'll see what happens. Thanks for all the suggestions! :-)
