Hello and I will apologize if this is a silly question. I recently switched my site form a very limited self written site to a WordPress site. On the old site I had created a sitemap.xml file that I registered with google webmaster tools and google analytics I believe. I used googles tool to generate the sitemap and when I added new pages I followed this format. I very happily downloaded this plug in to do all the work and am grateful for the extent of the options. I did view the /sitemap.xml file that it generates that replaces my old one and it is a different format and didn’t have everything on it that I thought would be there. Does this format work the same? I like to cross reference the layout of my site with googles SEO beginners guide. Thank you in advane for your time

well I just answered my own question and it was silly I didn’t realize that the initial site map that comes up is a directory to sitemaps that do look like what I was talking about. Thanks for such a great app I hope to be able to show my appreciation soon.
