[Plugin: Google XML Sitemaps] Sitemap rebuild does not update

I have been going crazy, I have been looking through this forum for over 3 hours just reading and acting on possible solutions. Please help.

I have added pages to my blog that are outside my WP blog. I use the “Additional pages” link to generate these additional pages. I restructured my URL file names using ‘-‘ instead of ‘_’. Google XML sitemaps is not updating, i.e. the sitemap generate lists the old URL file names. i have looked at the time stamp of the sitmap.xml file and it is the time that I ran the sitemap rebuild.

I have the lastest versions of WP and google sitemap generator.

please help, I have read and done so much without any result.
