    Hi!

I've been using Google XML sitemap generator for months now, and I'm liking it so much.

I recently created a new website with multiple subdomains, using WordPress 2.8.4 and a plugin called "WP Subdomains" (which converts categories into subdomains).

Is it possible to use this same plugin to generate unique sitemaps for each of my subdomains? I read in the sitemap protocols that you cannot put all subdomains into one sitemap.

If it's not possible with this plugin, can you recommend other scripts / plugins that will create unique subdomain sitemaps but still using this XML sitemap generator plugin? Thanks.

Has anybody found a solution to use this on a subdomain? I'd love to get it to work!

    Thanks
    Ivan

    Hi ,

I am also facing the same problem , i hope this is not possible by Google XML sitemap generator so you have to submit the separate sitemap for each subdomain , don't forget to exclude that category from your Google XML sitemap generator. you can use any of free sitemap generator tool like http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ etc.

    Thanks
    Raj

It's still on my todo list to provide a sitemap filter.

Sorry I've been off the project for a number of months but am back on it now.

I hope to make some progress soon.

    Hi,

It's now possible to include URLs from multiple domains in one sitemap, as long as you verify the ownership of all of them in Google Webmaster Tools.
