   Hi again,

   My dearest plugin. XML Sitemaps. Actually great, but it keeps causing erros and not working. And just when I thought it would be doing its job, it proves me wrong again :)

   Today, it's the sitemap formatting. While the sourcecode looks in order, opening sitemap.xml in a browser (FF) shows a block of text - somewhat like this:

   http://mydomain.com/ 2008-10-15T23:26:56+00:00 daily 1.0 http://mydomain.com/category/postname 2008-10-15T23:26:56+00:00 daily 0.6

   ...and a whole lot more like this, basically all posts with their date and settings and priority. All separated by a whitespace. No formatting, no links, no nice & sleek formatting as it should be.

   Again, a look at the source code reveals nothing. It has all XML tags and everything looks proper.

   Any ideas on this one?

   Can you give me the URL to your blog / sitemap?

   I'm having this same (I think) problem. The good news is that Google is supposedly processing it just fine, but in Firefox it's raw text and in IE7 I get the error message "(Access is denied. Error processing resource 'http://temp.solacesystems.com/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/google-sitemap-gene...")

   While temp is a CNAME that works, it's old. I've tried changing the xsl listed in the config screen to the www equivalent but the keep getting the same error message referencing the temp. version.

   Any help appreciated.

   I'm having the same issues. I noticed it worked fine before I changed the permalinks on my website from the wordpress default to %postname%. After that it didn't link up correctly and just produced this page.

   http://www.santaclaravalleyliving.com
