[Plugin: Google XML Sitemaps] problem with upgrade directory clean up?

    I have been having problems with sitemaps cleaning up after itself in the upgrade directory. It has been leaving a directory in there, then blocking other plugins from updating.

    I have already been trouble shooting this myself with my server company (I have my own server, and I run about 10 different blogs), so I have pretty much developed the opinion that it’s a problem with sitemaps.

    thoughts?

    Hi,

    the changes between the last versions were quite small and the plugin doesn’t do any special things on install / uninstall / uprade, so I think your problem is more WordPress related than directly to this plugin.

    Can you reproduce this behavior on all of your blogs?

    I also am having problems with google-sitemap-generator plugin upgrading. I have several sites using it.

    Another plugin that often gives problems is Sociable.

    Of the 8 or so other plugins I use I’ve never had any problem with the rest of them. There is something different abotu what you are doing with the .zip file and what Sociable is doing.

    Do you have any recomendations from a standard cpanel install of wordpress?
