A newbie question as this subject is a bit above my head at the moment :)
I am running a MU installation (www.graphenepartners.com) - two language versions of the same site. I installed the plugin and it seems to have generated a sitemap, which Google Webmaster Tools seems to see. I have three concerns:
- do I have to set it up for each of my sub-sites separately, or just for my main site? Is it better / necessary to submit a separate sitemap for each sub-site?
- My English-language sitemap seems to be quite a bit older than my Polish one. Are updates posted only when the site structure changes, or when site content changes? Does this matter?
- For some reason Google has only 'counted' (whatever the technical term is!) Polish-language keywords on my site, even though the link I submitted to GWT is definitely to the main, English site. Why could this be, what can I do to resolve it - I am more concerned with getting the English keywords seen by the search engines.
