I have the latest version of wordpress, using the genesis theme. I have set the setting in wordpress to noindex the category pages. However I ticked the category box in the XML sitemap plugin so that category pages are included in my sitemap.
Have I got this combination of settings wrong? Which takes preference, or does Google just index everything it finds in the site map?
