    Good afternoon,

I upgraded to WordPress 2.7 this morning, and I couldn't delete articles nor drafts, nor publish new articles, getting the following message:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 500001 bytes) in /homez.20/lalunema/www/wp-includes/class-snoopy.php on line 894

After a few searching on Google, I came upon this article:
    http://barrel.toolzoft.com/en/2007/08/08/error-fatal-google-sitemap-generator-271/
...which made me think Google-Sitemap-Generator might be causing the problem.

So I deinstalled GSG, and the problems were fixed (I can publish an article, delete articles and drafts again).

The only thing is that I still want to use this plugin! Any idea how to fix this?

Since the plugin has been created for WP 2.1+, maybe it needs a serious update?...

    Thanks for any help.

Could you try to raise the memory limit of the plugin, for example to 50? You can do this under "Advanced options" on the sitemap settings page. Each WordPress release tends to use more memory so you may just hit the threshold with this release.

Hi, thanks a lot for your help!

The memory limit was set on "16M", I tried to change it to "50M" and the problem got fixed.

Then I lowered the memory limit to "20M" and it still seems to work.

Well done! Thank you so much :-D
