   Hello, I wonder if you can help, I get the following error when trying to write the sitemap.

   Warning: is_writable() [function.is-writable]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/redros:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in /home/redros/public_html/wp-content/plugins/google-sitemap-generator/sitemap-core.php on line 1627

   open_basedir restriction in effect.

   this is your host and their security set up
   ask them how to work around this - like where can you put a tmp folder, etc.
   basically show them this error
