   Hi! I've an alterblog (without ftp access) and i've disabled now your plugin but sitemap.xml(+gz) styll remain present.
   Is there any way to delete all?

   You can delete the files manually via ftp.

   Thank'u Stefan! I know ftp but, if you fine read my request, i've an alterblog (freehosting wordpress setup) without ftp access.
   Any way, i've delete thanks to a php shell (ftp-php) but i think isn't a good way for all wordpress user. This file is maked via plugin? Is best to provide a way to remove via plugin.

   I have the same prob. but my wordpress is on my server so i can access the files. I disabled und romeved the plugin because some errors occured with a other plugin but sitemap.xml still exists (i think it get generated "on the fly") so wich file/files generate it?

   if plugin is disabled and u don't have other plugin can create sitemap, simple delete *sitemap.xml(and *gz) from server.

   Hello,

   I removed the plugin from ftp but I still got the xml names on my website. What do to?
