Google is unable to index my site. I have installed the plugin and everything seems to be perfect. If someone can tell what's wrong it will be highly appreciated!

  2. Google is unable to index my site.

How long has you site been around? Do you have a Webmaster Tools account? Is Google listing any specific errors?

SIte around for more than a week. What I find strange is that half of pages are indexed and half not, totally arbitrarily. I have tried submitting the sitemap(xml) to search engines as well.

The google webmaster shows 18 crawl errors Eg.:
    URL

    Thanks for replying.

The pages which do not appear in search results can be fetched successfully by googlebot in goog webmaster tools.

  5. Depending on how many other sites link to yours, it can take Google anywhere from a few days to a few months (I'm not kidding) to index your site. The best thing to do is to do what you can (use the sitemap plugin) and wait to be indexed.

You may notice that every time you update your sitemap with new content (you make a new post, page, etc), Webmaster Tools reports that Google has indexed a few more pages. I've seen mixed results with this, but it's worth watching.

Yes I see that happen too. As mentioned in first posts plugin seems to work perfectly.
In my case it seems google will take a month to index the site :o
