   Decided to enable ALTERNATE_WP_CRON via the wp-config.php file:
   define('ALTERNATE_WP_CRON', true);

   When you do this i notice that this plugin (Google Sitemap Generator) stops rebuilding the sitemap for posts that are scheduled and get posted. The posts do publish as scheduled but this plugin isnt alerted to the new publications. It just started doing this which makes me believe it is due to the alternate wp_cron being used.

   Can someone fix this?

   Just to clarify...it seems to have this problem when it is a "Post" that is scheduled to be published. When the publish date/time comes and goes the post is indeed published but this plugin doesnt get activated to rebuild the sitemap.
