   I am using WordPress 3.2 RC1 and the most recent version of the plugin. I am getting the following "error" from the plugin when it reports that "There was a problem while notifying Yahoo"

   "The following errors were detected: backend fetch error 400"

   I'm very new to the sitemap stuff and haven't a clue how to even begin thinking about what the problem could be. :(

   Well, it appears to be a permanent error then. I have gotten the same message every day since I posted this topic. I wonder if Yahoo has changed something?

   Yahoo has had issues for years usually just a connectivty issue where the error is "Cannot contact" with most sitemap generators but not a major issue. You can try submitting the sitemap manually to Yahoo. It also will work on occassion only as I just explained.
