   The instructions say to select either search words or a topic but I do not see a way to just choose either. Can anyone please help?

   Hi there,

   the two input fields are not programmatically mutually exclusive as a matter of fact.

   You are able to enter your text words in search AND you can select your topic from the drop-down menu but they wont work together:

   If you accidentally or on purpose enter both fields, then Google News will ignore the search keywords, as the readme.txt file mentions.

   This is a limitation of Google News, not of my plugin.
