[Plugin: Google Doc Embedder] Need quick help! (2 posts)

    Hey everyone,
    Ive downloaded and activated the plug-in. I dont think anyone else has asked this question but i want to use this plug in for a link on my homepage. I just want the link to say Resume....and then on click have it take you to my pdf viewed within the google doc viewer. Please help! Im editing my main index.php template and just need to apply this new link to my list

    rklinker,

    There are a couple options here, and you can choose what works best in your situation. One (and probably the easiest) is to just make a wordpress page that contains the shortcode for your resume PDF, and add a link to that page from your home page wherever you wish just as you would any other link.

    If you wish it to load in full page view, rather than embedded in a page or post, then you do not need to use this plugin at all for that. Create a custom link to the file using Google Docs Viewer directly and be sure to leave embedded:false.
