Great plugin. Highly recommended.
One of the best I have ever seen and used.
For the wish list: I wish it can embed xls files also.
That will make it nearly perfect.

Thanks for your kind words. At this time the Google document viewer (that this plugin uses) doesn't support any file types except PPT and PDF. I hope that they would add XLS, DOC, DOCX, PPTX, etc. but I'm doubtful that they will since it potentially drives people to use Google Docs directly.
I've debated embedding an alternate kind of viewer or doing some internal conversion for some other file types. However that would make my choice of plugin name short-sighted :) Still looking for the best solution for this.

you gonna keep your work on this? I'm tired of Apture, and this seems to be a good contender...

Yes, I plan to continue updating this plugin (testing a new version now). Even if I got hit by a bus, and had to stop for some reason, it's open source GPL and somebody else could take it up...
Now that Google has made this feature official (up to v1.6 of this plugin, it was undocumented), I don't see it going away. It may need to be updated as things develop in WP and at Google, of course. That's probably what most of the updates will be, though I do have some new features coming in 1.7 as well (probably next week).
If you have suggestions for further development, please share. But I do rely on this plugin for several of my own web sites, so I have incentive to keep it working. ;) As long as I'm doing that, I'm glad to share it with the community that has shared a lot of great stuff with me.
