    Looks like you haven’t enabled the Google CSE service in the API Console. Please check that.

    I’ll try to re-create the error when I’m home in 30 min.

    Indeed, I was able to recreate the error you’re faced when using a application with the “Custom Search API” service disabled.

    This error will in the next version of this plugin be presented as:

    “Custom Search API” service isn’t enabled in the APIs Console.

    Please get back to me, even if this works 🙂

    Hey,

    Thanks, that solved the immediate issue. I’ve just been testing out the search engine and it appears that it is linking to taxonomy pages (which isn’t itself an issue), but doing so with a completely random image and missing meta data.
