Hello,
There isn’t any way to control the order in this situation in the plugin itself, I’m afraid.
In this case, the order should be the order in which the events were last modified in Google Calendar, and should stay the same.

Hi,
Thanks for the prompt reply. I’ve tried editing the google calendar entries affected by this problem but have had no success in changing the order that the entries are displayed in by the Google Calendar Events plugin. But as you say they do appear to stay in the same order so I think I can work around that at the moment.
It would be nice to have a bit more control of the sequence so if you have any other things that I could try I’d be happy to give them a go.
Thanks again,
Xkutzy
Did you clear the feed cache between changing Google Calendar entries (by clicking the “Refresh” link in the plugin settings)? If not, this may explain why you didn’t see any changes in the order in the plugin.
More control over this would certainly be useful. I’ll look into it for future development.

I did make sure I refreshed the feed cache every time. I tried changing the time on one event to make sure they could change in sequence and this worked. But when I set the times the same again the two events always came back in the same order no matter which one I had changed last. I could not get them to swap around.
Not to worry, I’ve changed the sequence elsewhere on the site to match the feed so everything is consistent.
Cheers,

Just chiming in that this feature would be awesome. I ran into the same issue and can’t seem to identify exactly where the priority is being set. Thanks.
