• I have the ifeature theme which has a picture slider on the front page that is updated through uploading a picture in the edit/new post page. I have 8 plugins installed and activated on the site.

If I post an image for the slider front page for my post it causes the post to not submit and go to a blank white page. If I deactivate this plugin it posts just fine. I have tried various combinations of plugins and this one is always the one that breaks this action. This plugin does not allow this function when any of these are active: WordPress Google Form, WP-Mail-SMTP, WP Email Capture, and cbnet Different Posts Per Page out the ones I am using. (I tried them separately as well as together.) That is half of my plugins. I can use all of these and have no issues without this plugin activated.

Any ideas on a resolution to this would be much appreciated, as this seems to be the best plugin for incorporating google calendar into a wordpress site and at this time that is essential to the children’s social group site I am running.

    Hi Lilie,

That’s very odd. I’ll look into this and get back to you.

It seems even more complicated than I though. Your plugin will work with the WordPress Google Form alone, but not while I have Facebook Page Publish active.

So here are the 8 plugins I am dealing with:
    Advanced Category Excluder
    cbnet Different Posts Per Page
    Facebook Fan Box
    Facebook Page Publish
    Google Calendar Events
    WordPress Google Form
    WP-Mail-SMTP
    WP Email Capture

All seem to work together fine unless the Calendar events one is active. There are several combinations that get this behavior to repeat, I have a test site that I have been running the combinations on, if you need more information, just let me know.

    Lilie,

I can’t seem to reproduce this myself. My plugin doesn’t really do anything related to submitting / saving posts, so I’m struggling to think of how it could be to blame for the issue you’re seeing anyway.

Some of the other plugins you’re using are quite old. Particularly Advanced Category Excluder, which hasn’t been updated in two years and only claims to be compatible up to 2.7.1 (you’re running 3.2.1). In fact, many people are saying it’s broken.

I’m not claiming that my plugin is perfect, far from it, but I suspect the underlying problem is with the older plugins you’re using.

Sorry to not be of much assistance. Let me know if I can be of any help in narrowing down where the problem lies.

    Ross.

Yeah, I know having so many plugins isn’t helping either. It is a weird issue and I could not figure out why that was the case either. It was just that everything works great without this one turned on, so I figured it might be something in there somewhere.

For now I can work around it by turning of this plugin, posting, then turning right back on. Kind of a pain, but it works.

Thank you for taking the time to look into it, I do appreciate it.
