[Plugin: Google Analytics for WordPress] You must select which Analytics Profile to track before it

I see that there have been discussions regarding this, however it’s causing me grief:

“Google Analytics is not active. You must select which Analytics Profile to track before it can work.”

Please point me in the right direction or an alternative google analytics plugin.
