[Plugin: Google Analytics for WordPress] Track the administrator too - Extend to other user types (4 posts)

Does this option apply to all admin level users? or just to the user called admin?

Anyway (without hacking the code) to extend it to either other users or other types of users.

I'm the admin but I'd like to opt my husband out of the stats too, however he has his own login ...

    thanks

    Sarah

I've had a look through the code and would like to suggest a small change to the config section and to the code.

There is a test in the code for current_user_can('edit_users')
I have changed that to current_user_can('level_7')

But it would be nicer if instead there was the option to omit tracking for all users of type XYZ and above and have a drop down of each of the user roles and the level types as the saved value. The level would be a more elegant way to run that test than 'edit_users' too.

I was just going to ask for this exact same feature.

I'm looking to exclude users with the Editor role from the tracking statistics.

So seconding this feature request. :)

I would love to see this implemented!
