    I'm having the same issue on a client site.

    Fatal error: Call to a member function set_defaults() on a non-object in /nas/wp/www/staging/sitename/wp-content/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/googleanalytics.php on line 1578

    Looks like we need a fix...

    Fix to prevent breaking other plugins, broke the whole website. xD

    Quick fix is to comment out line 1578

    This also appears to remove Analytics from the site but gets rid of the fatal error.

    I've notified Yoast and he fixed the issue. He just pushed out a new version.

    The new update works just fine, installed it a few minutes ago.
