   Hello,

   when watching the reports in GA, I see two different data depending of the way of sorting the author visits.

   I am using your option for tracking author as custom variable.
   In GA, Visitors > Custom Variable > Author

   But I have also created a Advanced Segment with "Custom Variable (Value 1)" that is the one that shows the visit for a given author.

   And also, I have a Custom Report where I choose that Custom Variable (Value 1) and then I display Visits, Pageviews, etc for each author.

   The pageviews for each option is different.

   I want to use this to correctly see the pageviews of my authors but dont know which one is the correct.

   Any clarification here?
