I use Google Analytics for WordPress. I upgraded to WordPress 3.4.1 on 29 Jun 2012 and Analytics is no longer working. I can't work out what has happened but suspect that the upgrade has caused the problem. Anyone else in the same boat?

I just upgraded to WP 3.4.1, and Google Analytics is still working for me (at least, I can get real-time stats in GA, so the script that GA for WP embeds on the site must be working at least to do that).

Maybe you have a problem somewhere else in your setup?

This week I upgraded 2 sites to WordPress 3.4.1. & Google Analytics has stopped working for me also.

On the dashboard under Google Analytics Summary I get the message

"No Analytics account selected. Double check you are authenticated with Google on Google Analyticator's settings page and make sure an account is selected."

In Settings, everything remains the same as before, Enabled, Authenticated, correct UID, etc. I've tried disabling & re-enabling, deactivating & reactivating, unauthenticating & re-authenticating, but nothing works. If I go to the Google Analytics site I can see all the stats. They just aren't showing up on the dashboard.

I'm afraid to upgrade any more sites until I figure this out.

I have the same problem (or at least a very similar one). None of the analytics features on one of my sites works. When I try to re-authenticate my Google Analytics account, I get this error:

"Unfortunately, an error occurred while connecting to Google, please try again:"

Oddly, I'm running another installation of WordPress on the same server, and that one is still working fine. For me, the problem appears to have started when I updated to WordPress 3.4.2. Both sites are using 3.4.2, though, so this isn't an inherent compatibility problem with that version of WordPress.

After the latest wp.org upgrade I re-activated my plugins and when checking the settings of each plugin just now on the Google Analytics for WordPress Configuration I am getting the message:

"Google Analytics is not active. You must select which Analytics Profile to track before it can work."

I only have 1 GA account and have never had this issue in over two years.

When I click on "re-authenticate with Google" I get redirected to the grant access page click "Grant Access" and get redirected back to Google Analytics for WordPress Configuration and get this message:

Unfortunately, an error occurred while connecting to Google, please try again:

Why is this plugin broken now?? Also I do not know how to manually add code very well so I prefer not to do that...as that is the reason I use this plugin the first place.

Please let me know what to do ASAP or I have to find an alternative...thank you.

i lost all tracking as well after wednesday, i ended up copying the code into the header directly, that way i'm not relying on the plugin to do it for me. really sucks because we launched our blog last week and i have no visitor stats from the weekend after we sent out over 100K emails :(
