• I noticed on my Crawl Error page in my Google Webmaster Tools account that I am getting over 1,000 404 errors all due to outgoing links being modified by having the root domain plus a subfolder named “out” put in front of them. For example, the external link http://www.healthreform.gov/ on a particular post shows up in Webmaster Tools as http://www.thewealthydentist.com/out/www.healthreform.gov/, and is flagged as a 404. Looking at the live page, there is no problem and the external links work fine and are not modified. This only occurs within my Google Webmaster Tools account. I also noticed that this has only been occurring since 11/28/11, and that my Google Analytics for WordPress plugin (ver. 4.2.2) had been deactivated. Not sure when it was deactivated or if it has anything at all to do with the problem, but it may be a clue. I also reactivated the plugin today. Any ideas???
