Do you have any idea of what to do to make the widget works ???
sorry for the english but I'm French and try to describe this as precise as possible.

Hi,
Are you using the latest version of the plugin?
It looks from there- that you haven't selected a domain name from the dropdown menu in the settings page.
Is that correct?

GA ver. 6.3.4
WP ver. 3.4.2–en_US
Dashboard widget works 100% ok
Plugin settings: default after reset, no add code
@dantetg
Once you have activated the plugin, and authenticated with Google - you go to the settings page and select a domain name from the dropdown, then save, correct?

hi to all !!!
After trying to see if there's no conflicts in by DB (I don't think there is..) deinstall ans reinstall the plugin there's always this error
[ Moderator Note: Please post code or markup snippets (including log messages) between backticks or use the code button. ]
Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Google_ServiceException' with message 'Error calling GET https://www.googleapis.com/analytics/v3/data/ga?ids=ga%3A&start-date=2012-09-19&end-date=2012-09-19&metrics=ga%3Avisitors: (400) Invalid value 'ga:'. dashboard works very fine and all parameters in settings page with dropdown on my google account is ok.
does it desperate ??? ;-) or not...
From what you've pasted - it looks as if there is no account ID being passed, which means there hasn't been a domain selected and saved from the dropdown on the Google Analytics setting page.

In my setting page I've got the name of my Google account set up properly I think....
I don't see anymore what I have to do : the dashbord is ok so I think that the link between google account and my blog is good but the widget don't show me the dropdown to select a google account.

I'm getting this error as well. I'll have to remove this plugin unless this gets resolved.

I got the same Fatal Error and completely deleted the plugin and reinstalled it. That worked out very well. So try that, hopefully that helps.

I have the same problem. I am using the newest version of the plugin. I get the message below on the frontpage when the widget is used. Seems like the Google Analytics ID is not parsed correctly to googleapis.com. There is a "ga:" too much.
Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Google_ServiceException' with message 'Error calling GET https://www.googleapis.com/analytics/v3/data/ga?ids=ga%3Aga%3A51663728&start-date=2012-10-15&end-date=2012-11-13&metrics=ga%3Avisitors: (400) Invalid value 'ga:ga:51663728'. Hi -
I haven't been able to replicate how you get "ga:" in there twice, BUT, I have written a filter, that will check it anyway, and hopefully prevent this error from happening.
Appears some people here have a call with no account ID set at all, I have added an error catch for this too - so we can tell quicker what's wrong.
Cheers
Ben

Hi All,
I have ONE complaint, and one question.
COMPLAINT: I have this plugin on all my domains (circa 30) and have upgraded it to the latest version. I grant the access to my Analytics account (where i have multiple analytics profiles) and see the dropdown with all the profiles and everything. I assign the right one, i enable it, and do the same steps for all the domains.
Then i check the backend of the first one, and get this error:
Fatal error: Exception thrown without a stack frame in Unknown on line 0
On the front-end everything looks fine. The UI code is there and the whole script tracks as it should. The same problem is also on all the other domains. But JUST on the backend.
Is it a known bug? Is there already a fix online or will a new version soon be released?
QUESTION: is it somehow possible to integrate the in-page Analysis code snippet in order to track that too or do I have to hack it in the google-analyticator.php source file?
Thanks in advance,
Gabo
