I'd love for this plugin to come with a widget so I could have it on my main page. If people from other countries who can't speak English come to my site, they probably won't go to a page or post where it shows the [translate] link, so maybe if I had a widget with flags on it I could display on my main page they would get the idea immediately.

I've been thinking of adding a widget to this plugin for a while but I haven't come up with a simple, clean appearance for it that doesn't get lost if there are already a lot of widgets.
For the time being you can try the widget that Google provides here:
