I have installed and set up the plug in and simply cannot get ads to display. I even thought perhaps I needed to add the script that adsense provided in the source code and tried that to no avail. I removed it again.

    Hello,

It is possible that you didn't configure 'google ads' account or you don't have necessary calls for displaying ads hooks in your theme - the_content, wp_footer and etc.

Please provide URL of the website so we will be able to analyze this issue (probably we will need WP admin panel access).

    Regards,
    Oksana

    Hi. my site is http://www.sistamoments.com

I just installed plug today. I wanted the ads to show up on the right but the only options appear to be in the middle. I selected the Footer since I want the ads on all pages but there is only an option for '1' (i wanted 3). How do I move the ads to the right column with all the other extraneous-to-content info like about/author/links etc.? And, how do i ensure room for at least 3?

    Thanks

    Hello,

Our plugin doesn't intend for installing in the sidebar.
You can add more then one ads in the content only (here you have a lot of posts). You can't add more then one ads in the footer (we avoided to place several ads in succession that is why we've made limit for one ads in the footer).

    Best regards,
    Oksana

Ads do not display for me either. Code from the plugin does get generated and shows up in the site's sourcecode. Can't grant admin access and deleted plugin again, but this is definitely not a "phantom issue". Current WP, in multisite installation (and I kinda suspect that has something to do with it). Theme's Tarski.

    Hello Nils,

Could you please provide a screenshot of the admin settings page?
Ads do not display in general or you have a conflict between scripts?
Please provide URL of the website so we will be able to analyze this issue.

What do you mean? You do not have admin permissions? How did you install the plugin then?

    Oksana

    Hi

Same here - installed plugin but ads won't display. Not sure what I'm doing wrong and I am not very technical at all.

my site is http://www.themoderncool.com and it's self hosted, Brunelleschi theme.

I would like the ads to display after each post 1 ad.

For now chrome shows just an empty yellow box after most recent post, the rest don't have ads at all. Firefox doesn't show it at all.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

Please check the ads settings in the Google. Usually, the yellow box instead of ads says that script works, but nothing to display.

    Best regards,
    Oksana

    Hi,

Same here, installed plug-in but the ads are not displaying in my blog http://www.lushgazine.com . self-hosted.

Hi, I am having the problem with the plugin script apparently working (yellow boxes are showing up) but no ads. What settings should I look at in Google Ad Sense? Do I have to activate the specific ad size that I want to use (half banner)? Right now I have an ad running in the sidebar using the code directly from Google Ad Sense.

    http://lavieoverseas.com

I can provide a screenshot of the WP panel -- let me know and I can email that to you.

Could you please send us URL of the page with implemented code?
Did you select all necessary settings in the google ads (for example, what exactly to display and ect.)?

It is necessary to set up what exactly do you want to display in the Google Ad Sense, probably individual settings are required. Could you contact us via Contact form on our website in order to provide us admin access. We will try to test our Google Ad Sense account.

    Best regards,

I was having the same problem and then found that it was with my publisher id. I was just copying and pasting it from Google and assuming it was working. When I actually checked each number I found that it was losing the last 3 or 4 digits. I manually entered the number and now it works!

So you may want to check your publisher id.

don't copy in the "pub-" portion of the publisher id or else it will truncate the last few digits of the actual pub id. the publisher id is only numbers.

Yes, you are right. It is necessary to write numbers in the id field.

    Hello,

we suppose that ads are set up incorrectly on Google site because the script is loading correctly and all parameters for the script are correct. We tried to use your publisher id and everything works properly.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

may be this is related to your website only. We used your publisher id for the testing and everything is displaying correctly - texts ads and images.

    Best.

I am currently using the buddy press theme/plugin, might that be a conflict with your plugin or do you think it might be my website host?

I too had similar problems with just a yellow box showing up, but my Adsense publisher ID was missing numbers off the end. I entered it properly (without the "pub-" part), waited 5 minutes, and ads are now showing successfully.

The problem now, is that they are being cut off. For example: http://www.gohomeyouaredrunk.com/yummy-cat-is-yum/ underneath the picture, there is a bit of the yellow box still showing and one of the ads is hidden. Do you know if this has happened before, and if I can fix it?

why dont you guys just open footer.php and insert any ad codes right there instead installing plugins ?

i am sure that any themes has index.php from which you can locate the function get_header() and get_footer() which includes header.php and footer.php respectively .
i myself never use or just a few plugins for best performance .

if you want to insert ad to sidebar and dont want to manually add code to sidebar.php ( or something like that ) then insert a text widget and insert the ad code right there, make sure the width of sidebar is enough to fit the ad code ( normally 200-300 pixels )

tell me why you cant just open footer.php and insert the code simply ?

should i write an article about this ?

why dont you guys just open footer.php and insert any ad codes right there instead installing plugins ?

Because, in many cases, that would:

    a) involve creating a child theme
    b) would mean repeating the process if you wanted to switch themes
    c) assume that the site owner is comfortable editing a .php file

And please do not use these forums to promote your own tutorial site. That sort of thing doesn't go down very well here.

    Hello jacqui00,

    1) Please clarify, you theme has a challenge of right hooks, that the plugin can display advertising? try to activate the standard theme - is advertising appeared?
    2) please check the plugin's settings - maybe you have the unnecessary letters in the field publisher id, there must be only digits.

    Regards,
    Valeria.
