   As Global Translator Pro doesn't seem to be actively supported or developed. I have taken a fork and started a new plugin located here:
   http://benosullivan.co.uk/bens-translator/

   This is in BETA, please do not use on a production website yet.

   I am looking for people to test and possibly to help code for this plugin. Please download and test it.

   I confirm, bens translator works beter and fully supported and developed!

   It also works in 2.9 :)

   You can even use you global translator cache by copying the files over
