I have a medium size blog, and the gt-cache\stale\"language" folders are full because quite a few users have read the blog in other languages over the past five years or so. As such, the backup process on my server times out.
Is there a way to safely clear the stale caches to decrease the size of the backup?

Posted 1 year ago #Why not just delete them before you do your server back up?
You can just delete all the directories in the stale directory... If it is a problem for you.
