Hi there,
I'm using Gig Calendar on a site I've built for a friend. Even though I chose "no" on the settings page when asked if I wanted a blog post to be created for each gig, it still does it. This isn't really a problem, except that for some reason, on individual blog post pages, these gigs are showing up in the "Recent Blog Posts" widget in the sidebar. You can see what I mean here:

If you click on any other page on the site you'll see that they don't show up in the widget anymore.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
Jason
Did you find a solution? Seems to be working now on the website you listed.

I have the same problem on my site. If you look at the blog index, the Recent Posts widget does not contain any gig posts:
http://www.millerandmike.com/blog/
But if you go to an individual post page, the Recent Posts widget is full of gigs:

Any ideas?
P.S. I'm guessing that Jason above doesn't have this problem on his website currently because he doesn't have any gigs currently. :)
I solved the problem by using the Killer Recent Entries widget in the Thesis theme.
