Turn off for custom page types like Landing Pages (14 posts)

Hi I do really like this plugin but I have one issue - I have 'landing pages' and I would prefer to be able to switch off the plugin on these pages. At the moment the only option is posts, pages and the homepage. I have noticed that other social media sharing button sets recognise new page types like 'products' and 'landing pages' but unfortunately not this one. It would really help me if it were possible.

On the edit page/post section, you will find a checkbox to hide GetSocial on that particular page.

HI Thank you I can see it on other pages but for some reason not on the 'landing page' pages. Quite strange, I'll get in touch with the people who developed that plugin as it appears to be behaving strangely.

Hi, I'm also having the same issue. I don't want it to appear on the Jigoshop post type pages ie. the product pages as there are already social buttons for them in place.

Did you manage to figure it out Jess?

@ Jessica: Just curious, are you using Premise? I use Premise and am having the same problem for landing pages.

@davidpmariano yes absolutely, I have a feeling I need to change the page templates for premise to get rid of it. Do you have any thoughts on it?

Honestly I haven't been able to figure it out yet. I know Riyaz is aware of the Premise issue, so hopefully it gets fixed in the next round.

@Jessica - I think the latest premise or wordpress update made it work!

Riyaz - thanks for helping to get this to work (I assume this was the case :)

Yes. There is a known issue with Premise compatibility. Premise pages are cut off partially when plugin is active. I will release a fix pretty soon. Until then you may want to download one of the previous versions of GetSocial which should work just fine.

Riyaz, that's what i was saying. The last Premise update fixed it for me anyway.

The pages don't get cut off and the social sharing buttons aren't there for landing pages from premise at all.

    This is good. Thanks!

    Riyaz,

I installed your plugin. It works fine and looks very great. Now I need a "pin it" button very fast and I donĀ“t want to install another plugin. Coud You please make a new update with this button. That would be great!

It also were very good if I could make both possible at once: skyskraper and classic.
For the static homepage skyskraper and for everything else classic. That would be much more great.

    Caro
